From September to October 2025, Ergon Asfaltos México conducted a comprehensive AASHTO and ASTM test program evaluating ACE XP™ across every critical performance category — fatigue life, cracking resistance, stiffness, and rutting durability — using a PG 70-22 dense-graded mix under ASTM D8395-23 precision aramid fiber dosing with on-site, daily production reports. The results weren’t just good; they were exceptional.
Fatigue Resistance – AASHTO T-321
The ACE XP™ mix achieved 3.57 million cycles at 500 microstrain, confirming 3–5× longer fatigue life than standard HMA mixes. The fatigue curve fit (R² = 0.9895) shows remarkable consistency and predictable long-term performance under traffic loading.
Crack Resistance – ASTM D8225 (IDEAL-CT)
With a CT Index of 181.68 and a fracture energy near 1,900 J/m², the ACE XP™ mix delivered 110% higher cracking tolerance compared to traditional dense-graded PG 70-22 mixes — more than doubling control mix performance.
Dynamic Modulus – AASHTO T-342
Dynamic Modulus testing confirmed a perfect master curve correlation (R² = 1.000) and 15–20% higher stiffness while maintaining balanced flexibility — critical for resilience under temperature extremes and heavy traffic.
Rutting & Moisture Resistance – AASHTO T-324 / T-283
