The glitz of Las Vegas set the stage for Surface Tech’s unveiling of its groundbreaking e-platform at the Wynn Encore Las Vegas during the World of Concrete trade show event.
Attendees at 2017 World of Concrete were invited to see first-hand the rollout of the e-platform tooklkit.
“Many likened it to Uber or Amazon for the concrete industry,” said Bryan Goerger, Vice President/General Manager of the Concrete Division. “The excitement for this tool and how it will reinvent the concrete industry was contagious. I lost count of how many times we heard the word, ‘wow!’.”
The three components of the platform, TRKR™, CMPLYNC™, and ASBML™, were shown through a series of demos over the course of three days.
ASBML™, a module of the e-platform and first for the concrete industry, simplifies and enhances the bidding process for concrete contractors and estimators while providing engineers, designers and owners e-content to use for specifications to benefit from by selecting concretes that offer distinctive performance characteristics.
The TRKR™ module eliminates many of the common jobsite and administrative challenges faced in the concrete industry today including ordering, delivery, measuring job site performance, billing/collection and more. Contractor orders through the supplier are kept up to date in real time and provides an added layer of transparency.
CMPLYNC™ is a Mobile App that is an active compliance management system which improves jobsite & transportation safety, and reduces the risk of construction defect claims.
“The industry is excited about this relevant and groundbreaking technology that will result in increased profitability and efficiency across the industry,” said Steve Santa Cruz, President, Surface Tech. “We are looking forward to the next phase of implementing our E-Platform and are motivated by the excellent feedback we received from industry peers at World of Concrete.”
